SCARY HOURS III
This concept cover art for the third installment of Drake’s Scary Hours EP embodies the tension and anticipation built during the two-year wait since the last release. Drawing inspiration from Alfred Hitchcock's iconic film Psycho, particularly the eerie Bates Motel, the design creates an unsettling atmosphere. A dark black-and-white color palette dominates the art, with sharp hints of red strategically placed to evoke a sense of discomfort and foreboding.
The composition captures an "I've arrived" energy, aligning with the aggressive and bold tone of Drake's return.
OVO SOUND
This concept cover art, designed for OVO Sound, a prominent Canadian independent record label and radio station, features crooked vector lines, intentionally imperfect, forming a striking silhouette of the label’s founder, Drake. The color palette is minimalist, using bold contrasts like black, white, and red to echo OVO Sound's iconic branding. The background remains subtle, allowing the fragmented line art to take center stage.
